As a chronic eczema fighter, I often get asked for the best eczema product or solution. In my opinion, each product and solution works differently at different eczema severity levels. The recommendations on this page are not just from me. Fellow eczema fighters have given me passionate stories about the one eczema product that turned their life around. A product may not work for me, but it could work for you. Alternatively, what works for me may not be effective for you.

Note: I haven't tried all of the products listed below. Read more about what I use here.

Recommended Eczema Products

  • Aquaphor Healing Ointment Advanced Therapy

  • Aveeno Therapy Moisturizing Cream

  • CeraVe Moisturizing Cream

  • Dupixent (personally, a game changer medication, but has limited availability and can be expensive)

  • Emily Baby and Adult Skin Soother

  • Gold Bond Intensive Relief Anti-Itch Lotion

  • Neosporin Eczema Essentials Daily Moisturizing cream

  • Neosporin Eczema Essentials Hydrocortisone Anti-itch Cream

  • Renew Intensive Skin Therapy (a changed-my-life product, but has fragrance ingredient)

  • Stelatopia Moisturizing Cream (a turned-my-life-around product)

  • Vaseline 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly

  • Protopic (a gave-me-my-face-back medicine from personal experience, though it is a painful medicine to use and can cause withdrawals similar to topical steroids)

  • Steroid Creams (I do NOT recommend topical steroid creams - they can cause topical steroid withdrawal, which is so terribly awful)

  • Steroid Pills (when steroid creams don't help)

  • Antihistamines (Claritin, Allegra and Zyrtec don't cause drowsiness like Benadryl)

  • CLn body wash as an alternative to bleach baths (to help avoid skin infections)

  • Mezereum 30c (Homeopathic remedy for oozing, crusty skin rash. Recommended by my acupuncturist that has helped multiple eczema patients, including me.)

Recommended Eczema Solutions

  • Keep cold, wet towels in the fridge and put them on your hot, flared skin (feels great!)

  • Try acupuncture and Chinese medicine (I do this during bad times)

  • Use herbal medicine, recommended by acupuncturist or expert (e.g. Silerex)

  • Exfoliate skin softly if it's going through a shedding period

  • Get your Vitamin D levels checked - supplements, if there is a deficiency, could help (happened to me personally)

  • Probiotics - may help eczema; otherwise, will help your belly

  • Allergy tests - both the patch testing and the skin prick test
